Anne Milton, the Minister of State for Skills, made the following statement in the House of Commons on 22nd March in answer to a Parliamentary question: The University Technical College (UTC) programme has an important role to play in our reforms to technical education, with strong UTCs succeeding in equipping young people with the skills businesses need, getting them into employment and supporting social mobility.
A small group of year 10 students were crowned the winners of the Derby iRail competition 2018, which took place at Derby’s conference centre on March 13th 2018.
